My First Gig... Sort of
So my boyfriend's Fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia had a Concert. They're a music fraternity. My boyfriend wanted me to film it, so I was hired... for free. I don't mind doing free work cause I truly love what I do and I needed more material for my website. Plus, I wanted to see how I would deal with filming something that I couldn't control, cause it was reality and not something I was directing. I got some positive feedback after the guys in the fraternity found out I was the one who made the video, so I think it turned out well.

I Made a Video!
So I recently got a Mac for christmas (my family does christmas after tax returns) and I really wanted one cause my old computer couldn't handle HD footage. I was so excited, I made this video in one day. The footage is from a year ago, thats how long it took for me to get this computer. Anyway, my little sister loves One Direction so we recorded ourselves dancing around to it at a borrowed location (I wish our house was this big) and this was the end result.

Not So Fast
After I graduate from college, I need a plan.
1. Where will I go?
2. Will I go alone or with a friend/friends?
3. How much do I need to save up?
4. When do I plan on leaving?
5. Road trip or plane?
Answers
1. I'm focusing on Florida
2. Only one friend plans on going with me.
3. All my research says $5,000. So I'm gonna go for $10,000.
4. The winter after I graduate when housing cost less.
5. I like the idea of a road trip.
I'm sure there's a lot more questions that need to be answered but those are the most pressing ones right now. I think.

What exactly do I want to do?
I want to film, I want to turn someone’s creation into reality when they aren’t able to do so themselves. I get joy out of holding a camera and filming or taking pictures. Editing a video and seeing the outcome gives me excitement (even though I’m still working on my editing skills). I have a serious passion for it and I want to make a living off it.
